Back on December 18th I posted about a visit that I had with two friends, Bonnie and Kathy. We hadn't seen each other in quite a while and during that visit we decided that we should get together once a month to work on some needlework, visit and have lunch together. Yesterday we met at my house and I am embarrassed to say that I didn't take any photos! And I could have gotten some great ones! We just got to chatting and I didn't even give it a thought.
I do have a photo that my husband took of Bonnie and me last fall...
And here's a photo of Kathy and me on our camping trip to Maine...
Kathy learned how to knit last year and she has been making dishcloths to perfect her knitting, but she's a little bored with them and wanted a new challenge. I convinced her that she could knit a simple hat for her grandson and she got almost all of the ribbing knitted while we chatted. That would make a good photo...
Bonnie is hand quilting a quilt that her mom made. It's a beautiful quilt with beautiful fabric colors. That would have made another good photo...
I'm making pink hats for the Women's March on Washington for some friends who are planning to attend the march. That would not have been as exciting as Kathy's hat and Bonnie's quilt but still would have been a nice photo...
For lunch I made a crustless quiche, tossed salad and Kathy brought some corn muffins. For dessert we had apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Did I think to take photos of lunch? Nope.
So, you might wonder how I got these photos. I texted Bonnie and Kathy and asked them to take a photo of their projects and send them to me... the miracle of technology!!
Hope you all had a great day!
Thanks for dropping by...
