ISIS had claimed through a twitter account associated with Anbar provincial division of ISIS that Jake Bilardi known as Abdullah al-Australi including four other foreigners from Belgium, Syria, Uzbekistan and Caucasus were among those that carried the suicide attack on city of Ramadi in Iraq.
The image which appeared to show Abdullah al- Australi on the wheel was captioned, "Abdullah al-Australi (may Allah accept him).
Jake Bilardi joined the Islamic State last year. His Australian passport was cancelled in October on the advice of Australian Security forces.
According to the Australian Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop the Australian government is trying to independently confirm if the report that Jake Bilardi had killed himself through suicide bombing is true.
