My Experience with Skinfix Facial Exfoliating Pads:

This is my first time using a product from the brand Skinfix. I had not heard about it till I came across it in my local drugstore. The packaging looked high-end and the ingredient list looked benign and beneficial to skin. This skin care brand is highly promoted on QVC, has good reviews on Ulta, and lauded on the Allure website, so I do not regret putting my fate in a brand I had not really cared for before or never used before.

Skinfix Facial Exfoliating Pads product details

These cotton pads come in a plastic, round box with a screw on lid. The packing is in white color with lime green color lid and has a detailed description on the packaging. The cotton pads are made of cotton, there size is larger than most peeling pads and are mildly textured on one side and smooth on the other. These pads are uniformly soaked in the peeling solution by are not dripping wet. One pad is saturated enough to cover face, neck and décolleté area with the peeling solution.

These pads are infused with a blend of natural glycolic, salicylic and lactic acids to gently remove embedded impurities in the pores and remove dead skin cells. It also contains sugar cane, Willow Bark and Australian Lime Pearl Extracts that are natural sources of AHAs to accelerate skin’s own renewal process. These pads are extremely gentle and do not sting as some products with peeling acids do.

Skinfix Facial Exfoliating Pad

They do not have unpleasant smell rather they have no smell whatsoever. These wipes are gentle for everyday use and turn skin red for a moment that too if used from the abrasive side. This pad is particularly good for those who suffer from hyperpigmentation or acne scarring and cannot afford treatments like laser or micro needling. Chemical acids are a more affordable option even though they are not as fast performing as other treatments mentioned earlier. These pads do make skin sensitive to sun exposure and a good SPF is essential and they should not be mixed with vitamin C skincare routine. Overall, I love these pads, they perform well, and I recommend it to those who suffer from hyperpigmentation and scars.

Pros of Skinfix Facial Exfoliating Pads:

  • These are potent peeling pads with an impressive ingredient list.
  • One cotton pad is enough for face, neck, and décolleté
